Templates
Boards you can open and edit rather than start from nothing. Free, no account, and every one of them was made in this editor.
A template here is a finished board, not a picture of one. Every box, line and label in it is a real element you can select, move, rename and delete, exactly as if you had drawn it yourself — and each template page explains how that particular kind of diagram is edited.
Opening one replaces what is on your canvas. There is one board per browser: if yours is empty the template simply appears, and if you already have something there you are asked first. Replacing it cannot be undone, so use Export to save your own work as a file before you say yes.
Every template can also be downloaded as a .diagram.json file, to keep, to send to
someone, or to bring in later with Import → Diagram — which adds it to whatever
is already on the canvas instead of replacing it. The previews below are SVG exports made by the
editor itself, so they show exactly what you will get.
